Hi! In this blog post, I’m showing you how to make stickers from your photos on your Samsung phone or tablet. We’ll go through a step-by-step process on how to cut out photos, save them, and use them. You’ll learn how to easily cut out and make PNG stickers with a transparent background, add frames or outlines, and decorate them to your liking in Samsung Gallery—no third-party app needed.
Once you’ve created your custom stickers, they’ll be saved in your gallery, allowing you to easily add them to your note-taking app, like Samsung Notes, for digital journaling. You can also add them to your Samsung keyboard for quick access in any app. A frequently asked question is where to find and use stickers in WhatsApp on Samsung devices. In this post, you’ll also find answers on how to send your stickers in chat apps like WhatsApp or any other app. So let’s get started!
Whether you have a photo you’ve taken or one from Pinterest that you want to turn into a sticker with a transparent background, follow these steps:
Open Samsung Gallery: Launch Samsung Gallery, the pre-installed and free app on your Samsung device.
Select Your Image: Choose the image you want to turn into a sticker and tap on Edit.
Use the Lasso Tool: Select the Lasso Tool to cut out your sticker. You can use the Snap to Shape feature, add frames, or utilize other tools for precise cutting.
Customize Your Sticker: Once your sticker is cut out, you can add outlines, text, or other decorations to personalize your sticker.
Once you’ve created your stickers by following the steps above, they will be saved in your gallery as PNG files with a transparent background. However, if you’re looking to use these stickers in other apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, or if you want to add them on top of your other photos to make collages, they need to be added to your Samsung Keyboard. To add your stickers into Samsung Keyboard for quick access, follow these steps:
Open Samsung Gallery: Go to the Samsung Gallery app and select any image.
Edit the Image: Tap on Edit, then select the smile icon to access the stickers option.
Add Stickers from Gallery: Tap the gallery icon, then select the add icon to add your custom stickers.
Now your stickers are ready for quick access from the Samsung Keyboard!
To delete and organize your stickers in Samsung Keyboard, follow these steps:
Open Samsung Gallery: Go to the Samsung Gallery app and select any image.
Edit the Image: Tap on Edit, then select the smile icon to access your stickers.
Delete Stickers: Tap the gallery icon. To delete a sticker, tap and hold the sticker, then select the ones you want to delete once select mode is on, and finally select delete.
Once you’ve created your stickers using the steps above, they’ll be saved in your gallery as PNG files with a transparent background. To use them in other apps, ensure you have followed the steps to add them to your Samsung Keyboard so they will appear there. Make sure that Samsung Keyboard is set as your default keyboard in the settings. After adding them, your custom stickers will be available in the Samsung Keyboard.
Here’s how to access them:
Open Samsung Keyboard: Start typing a message and tap the smiley icon to open the emoji and sticker menu.
Find Your Stickers: Your custom stickers will appear under the gallery icon. Stickers downloaded from the Samsung Galaxy Store will also be visible here.
Now your stickers are ready for quick access and use in your messages!
Follow the steps above to create stickers on your Samsung device. Once you’ve made your stickers, you can find and use them by following these steps:
