
GoodNotes is a Paperless/Digital Note-Taking App where you can import documents, take notes, and use digital planners. Now it is free to try; you can create your first notebooks for free. Download the GoodNotes App here.
If your files are zipped for quicker download, unzip your files with the following steps.
Open the GoodNotes App.
Select ‘New…’
Select ‘Import’
Select your files in the following screen.
To edit your document, tap on the (pen icon) in the upper right of the navigation bar. You can use the tools in the toolbar to edit your document. If you want to learn the functions of the tools, please check out bla bla.
To use the hyperlinks tap the icon (pen with a line through it) in the top right corner and both the Navigation Bar and Tool Bar will disappear. Now you can tap and navigate between links of your document.
1. Go to the page you want to duplicate and tap the ‘Three Dot Icon’ in the top-right corner and select ‘Copy Page’.
2. Select ‘Show Side Bar’
3. Select the thumbnails icon in the top-left corner.
4. Locate where you would like to paste the page you’ve copied.
5. Tap the ‘v’ icon and select ‘Add Page After’, and select ‘Paste Page’.
You can also simply duplicate the pages in the side-bar.

4. Drag and drop the thumbnail of the page you would like to move.
Select the Bookmark Icon in the top-left corner and the current page can be found in the Favorites tab of the thumbnail view.
On the documents, select ‘Settings.’
Select ‘Notebook Templates.’
Select ‘Default Cover.’
Select ‘+’ and name your cover set.
NOTE: When the document and the cover size is not matching, the cover can be smaller than the pages. If you experience this problem, ask the creator which template size you should use for your covers. For Honeynbutterfly Planners, when importing the covers, select ‘Letter’ from the ‘Templates’ Section as shown in the video.
Select ‘import’ and import your extra covers from your files.
Now your new covers are imported to GoodNotes.
Open the document you want to change the cover of it.
Navigate to the first page of it.
Tap on the ‘Three Dots’
Select ‘Change Template’
Select ‘Cover’ at the top
Select the cover you would like to use, and tap on apply.
With Drag & Drop
Open up your stickers in the split screen view.
Drag and drop your stickers into your document.
With the Image Tool
Select the Image Tool from the toolbar.
Tap anywhere on the page.
Select an image you want to add from “Photos” or “Insert from…” and choose from your Files.
Select ‘Lasso Tool’ from the toolbar.
Double tap and be sure ‘Images’ is switched on.
Draw a circle on the sticker or stickers you want to use.
Tap on your selection and select copy.
Tap and hold on where you want to add the sticker and select paste.
The Elements feature help you reuse anything created with GoodNotes tools. You can organize your elements with folders in the GoodNotes app to categorize and find your elements quickly.
Select ‘Elements’ from the toolbar.
Select ‘Plus Icon’, import stickers from your files, and name the New Collection.
Select create.
Select elements and tap where you want to add stickers.
Select the sticker you want to add.
